Our Booking Promise
Here’s everything you need to know to plan your visit smoothly. We believe in being clear and fair, ensuring your experience is perfect from the moment you book.
How do I book my adventure?
We're so excited to welcome you! To ensure a personalized experience, all tours must be booked in advance. You can reserve your spot by:
- Booking online on our web for the fastest and most direct confirmation.

- Emailing us at info@riarateatours.co.ke.
We recommend booking at least 48 hours ahead of your desired tour time.
Securing Your Booking: Our Payment Policy
To confirm your tea adventure and allow us to prepare for your arrival, we kindly require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance can be settled upon your arrival at the farm. For customized or large group events, we will agree on payment terms with you directly.
Changing Plans: Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that sometimes, plans need to change. Here is our friendly and fair cancellation policy:
- More than 7 days before your tour: You can receive a full refund of your deposit or reschedule for a future date at no extra cost.
- Between 3 and 7 days before your tour: Your deposit becomes non-refundable, but you are welcome to reschedule your tour to a new date.
- Less than 72 hours (3 days) before your tour: The deposit is non-refundable, as we will have already made special preparations for your visit.
A Note on Timing: Late Arrivals
To ensure a wonderful experience for all our guests, our tours begin promptly at the scheduled time. If you are running late, please call us. While we will do our best to accommodate you, joining a tour that is already in progress may not be possible. Bookings for guests who do not arrive (no-shows) are non-refundable.
If We Have to Reschedule (e.g., Extreme Weather)
Your safety is our priority. In the very rare event that we must cancel a tour due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you immediately. You will have the choice of rescheduling for another day or receiving a full 100% refund of your deposit.
